Your privacy is critically important to us. At NexusLore, we have a few fundamental principles:

  • We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information that we collect about you through the operation of our services.
  • We store personal information for only as long as we have a reason to keep it.
  • We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what information on your website is shared publicly (or kept private), indexed, and permanently deleted.
  • We help protect you from overreaching government demands for your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

Account Information: We collect basic account information such as your name and email address when you sign up for an account via our authentication provider (Clerk).

Payment Information: If you buy a paid subscription, our payment processor (Clerk) will collect the necessary payment information. We do not store your full credit card details.

Content: We collect and store the content that you upload, sync, or input into NexusLore (documents, files, chat queries) solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Information We Collect Automatically

Log Data: Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, and operating system.

2. How We Use and Share Information

We use information about you to provide our services to you, such as creating and maintaining your account, processing payments, and providing customer service.

We do not sell your private personal information.

We share information with third-party vendors who need to know information about you in order to provide their services to us, or to provide their services to you. These include:

  • OpenAI: Used for generating embeddings and AI responses. Data is sent via API and is NOT used to train OpenAI's models.
  • Supabase: Used for database hosting and vector storage.
  • Clerk: Used for authentication and billing.
  • Inngest: Used for background job processing (syncing).

3. Security and Data Retention

We take all reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. We use encryption at rest (in our database) and in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

You can delete your data at any time by deleting your workspace or account. When you delete data, it is immediately removed from our production database.

4. International Transfers

NexusLore is a global service. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our third-party vendors are located.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us.
